The tax is real: 4 lb 1 oz empty, official fit 5'9" and taller, US list $349.99. Those cons send some shoppers to the 14L instead of pretending one size covers every frame.

Walk to the 14L if any of these is the constraint — not as a “smaller 20L,” as a different trip-length product.

- The 16" sleeve is 20L only. The 20L fit chart is 5'9" and taller.
- If you carry a 16" laptop and are shorter than 5'9", the official table does not give you both. Live with the 20L fit, or drop to a 15" machine and the 14L.
