Airlines sell an under-seat slot. A pack fails that job if it is secretly a carry-on. WANDRD lists PRVKE 21L as carry-on size. Taskin ONE expanded to 10–13 in is carry-on depth (and was sold out on 27 August 2026). Bagsmart Blast Pro 38L claims underseat approved at 8.1–10 in — treat that as a brand claim. - Brand claim, not a sizer stamp: Nomatic lists the unexpanded 20L as a personal item on most airlines. Confirm the carrier. US outer dimensions were not on the comparison table we could read — treat them as check-at-checkout.
- Unexpanded is the brief: 20L starting volume. Expand to 30L and you have left the under-seat job. That is a different profile — see carry-on vs personal item.

- 4 lb 1 oz empty. Heaviest of the three flagships on this site. An under-seat win on volume can still be a shoulder tax.
- Official fit is 5'9" and taller. Shorter travelers are steered to the 14L. Buying the 20L “because it fits under the seat” against the size chart is on you.
- Expanded 30L is a different job. The under-seat / personal-item claim on this site is unexpanded 20L only. Hip belt sold separately.
